Giddy up!

Okay... so here's me getting back on the horse. This week might contain some boring posts as I get my rear in gear.

Breakfast - 3 eggs, salsa, onion + steamed asparagus.
Snack - missed it.
Lunch - Tuna salad (no bread!)
Snack - Orange, tomato, steamed broccoli, protein bar
Dinner - Baked salmon+olive oil mayo+almond slivers.
Snack - tea + fruit.

Work out
50 competition sit ups.
25 pushups
25 deep squats
25 push ups
25 deep squats
50 competition sit ups.

1 min plank*

I'm getting my better attitude back at the music job... which is very good. Gotta keep that in check or it's too easy to slip back into the negative whirlwind of the my feelings about the music dept.

Trying to focus on things going well. Trying to focus on things that need to be done in order to move. Trying to keep one step ahead of the changes. But not stressing out... just doing the normal day-to-day tasks.

  4. Wow. I would love to be able to do a 1 min. plank! You go girl. Planks are one of the best exercises because they develop the core and the rest of the body. I am going to try and catch up with you. Take care.

  5. You know how the older you get, the more one says "time flies". So, I totally agree with your quote. And if time flies, you get another day really soon!

  6. You have GOT to give on what a competition sit up is! I can't do a 1 minute plank either - you are really developing some rockin' muscles to expose as the weight comes off! The food looks really good, too. One thing I love is to toast some walnut pieces in a pan and then put them on salad. Adds a whole new dimension of flavor! Hope you stay tough and feel powerful and great this week!
