Cancelled

Soooo.... trainer lady cancelled two of our sessions this week. We would have rescheduled for Thursday, but I've got a work meeting. Just nothing is working out there in the scheduling department. I did my own thing this morning... I pushed myself. I did 20 minutes worth of these insanity-esque work outs... like normal. But it just wasn't the same as having her push me. I need to create a version of her in my head.

I'm having anxiety over the number on the scale right now... I ate pizza this weekend. a piece of birthday cake (at what I felt was social gun point) and didn't do much moving. I got one work out in on Friday, again without trainer. The scale is super showing it. I have to get back down by this Friday/Saturday!

Meal plan for the day
Breakfast: Kiwi, protein bar.
Snack: almonds + carrots
Lunch: Fajita innards - no tortilla
Snack: Orange
Dinner: Salmon filet + spinach salad (dried cranberries, tomatoes, cucumber + italian dressing)

Big Fat Gotta Stick To This Love,
Nanette
Sweaty, post work out pic.

Today I did... mountain climbers (think downward facing dog, then run), lunges, squats, plank leg lifts, high knees. I made it through the circuit twice and then did 50 crunches, 50 side crunches (each side) and 50 leg lifts.

  1. It's hard when you don't have anyone to push you. You can do this! We can do this!

  2. "I ate pizza"....hmmm that sounds like a blues song in the making! Or "I was hungry" lol.

Must be nice to have a PT. It is good to have a mental picture. I have found a bloggie bond with Mir. In my mind, when I am messing up, I think on how she really has been there for me considering she has so many followers. I feel bad about it. Lately...I just had to get over things (lol pizza was there) fluctuating plus or minus 5 to 6 lbs. Bloggie love in my heart has kept me from eating the whole thing. Las Vegas is a food paradise. I recently turned down going to "Dick's" the place famous for foul mouthing waiters and the whole treat you bad show, but ends up giving you a great meal. I also turned down "Coyote Ugly". It is easier at my age to do so. In my younger days...I would be on the bar dancing at Coyote Ugly and giving up my bra to their collection. LOL. Everywhere there is an all you can eat place.

You are doing real good. Way to go on the self motivated workout. It is great that you are getting a handle on this in your youth. So much fashion, so little time, babe.

    1. omg! I want to work at Dick's! Talk about theraputic work place... one where you say exactly what you think and take out all the abuse you've received as a customer service representative for the university! HA!

I feel very fortunate to have a PT/workout buddy and to be attacking my mountain of fat this young. Watching my dad go through his health problems has really inspired me.
